Terms of Service

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of earlybird (the "Service"), operated by Julian Estrada ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What earlybird is

earlybird monitors publicly available company career pages and sends email alerts when new internship or entry-level postings match a subscriber's saved preferences (categories, location, and stage). A limited, free view of postings is available to everyone; full details (company name, location, apply link, and real-time alerts) require a paid subscription ("Pro").

2. Accounts and access

Pro access is tied to the email address you subscribe with. We don't use passwords — instead, we email you a sign-in link ("magic link") that authenticates you for a limited time. You're responsible for keeping that link and your email account secure, and for all activity under your subscription.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

4. Posting data and accuracy

Posting information (titles, companies, locations, links, categorization) is collected automatically from third-party career pages and may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or occasionally inaccurate — including because a company changed or removed a posting after we found it. earlybird is a discovery and alerting tool, not a source of truth for any employer's actual hiring status. Always verify details on the employer's own site before applying or making decisions based on a listing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's data in bulk; attempt to bypass the paywall or authentication; use the Service to harass, spam, or impersonate others; or interfere with the Service's normal operation.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep alerts running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, a specific alert delivery time, or that any particular posting will be surfaced. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, earlybird and Julian Estrada won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed job opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
